Keyless Door Lock – Why A Keyless Lock Is The Best Solution
Why You ABSOLUTELY Must Have A Keyless Door Lock
If you still have locks on your house that use traditional keys you are a sitting duck for thieves because of a lock picking technique called lock bumping that’s has been around for years but recently has exploded across the Internet and is so easy to do a 10 year old can do it with no special skills or practice.
Just watch this shocking video and you will never want this type of lock on your house again…

Lock Bumping Video

.
In the video several lock companies were mentioned and while these are high quality locks they can still be picked by an experienced burglar so all you have done is raised the barrier of entry and are still vulnerable.
.
Even Expensive Keyed Locks Have Flaws
Even the more expensive locks are at best “pick resistant” and “bump resistant” meaning that they still can be breached with a little more skill and effort. Add to this the ability to saw and drill these locks and you end up no better off than you were with a cheap lock.
.
The Solution To Your Lock Problem
The solution is to get a keyless door lock like the Sunnect AP501. These keyless locks cannot be bumped or picked because there is no keyhole. And they are also vandalism proof since you can’t pour glue or sand or wedge anything like a toothpick into something that isn’t there.
“I have been in this business for 50 years. Not much excites me anymore. This [Sunnect AP501] is exciting!”
-Larry G., a SVP of sales at a midwestern door lock manufacturer, visiting the Sunnect booth at the 2008 Door and Hardware Institute Expo
Yes, you do use an electronic key but these do not enter the lock in any way, you just touch a tamper-proof sensor with the key so you have the utmost reliability and security. Another way of unlocking the lock is to use the built-in digital keypad if you forgot your electronic key.
These technologies have been rigorously tested and have proven to be the most effective ways to unlock a door over other methods currently in use, particularly some of the newer high-tech methods.
Consider the keyless door locks that use biometric methods like fingerprint scanning in place of keys. While these technologies are pretty good indoors they do not work so well outside where rain and snow can hinder fingerprint recognition.
Couple that with the fact that the scanner is usually glass or clear plastic that can be vandalized or broken and you once again are setting yourself up for problems and usually end up having to use a key or enter digits on a keypad anyway to unlock the so-called keyless lock.
Voice recognition is another method used in some keyless door locks but once again this technology just isn’t that workable outdoors where you have ambient noise to confuse the mechanism as well as a microphone opening that can be damaged by water or vandals.
A good keyless door lock such as the AP501 is totally sealed and based on advanced technology that virtually guarantees the lock will work without failure and is designed to prevent any form of tampering like sawing, prying, hammering and kicking.
That is why the National Locksmith magazine called the Sunnect AP501 “one tough deadbolt…built like a tank”.

“This is it. Top of the line.”
“Best deadbolt keypad I’ve ever seen!”
